Job summary

ENGLISH GARDENS in Royal Oak, MI is hiring a Retail Delivery Driver/Customer Loading Assistant. This full-time position involves local deliveries within the metro Detroit area and helping build patio furniture for display and sale.

Employees must work outside daily, maintain excellent driving records, and meet license/medical card requirements. The role offers paid training, weekend/holiday shifts, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
Load and unload trucks.
Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
Must be willing to work weekends and Holidays.
Must have an excellent driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain chauffeurs license and DOT medical card, as well as pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

Deliver local floral, furniture, Christmas trees and other products within the metro Detroit area.
Assist with building patio furniture for display and customer purchases.
Work outside daily as required by the busy seasons.
Provide courteous, professional customer service during deliveries and loading.
