Job summary

English Gardens in Royal Oak, MI is seeking full-time Delivery Drivers to handle local floral, furniture, and Christmas tree deliveries in the metro Detroit area. Duties include assembling patio furniture for display and assisting in the Christmas tree department during peak seasons.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to work daily outdoors, and completion of safety checks. A valid driver’s license and DOT medical card, plus passing a drug test, are required.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly

We are looking for PASSIONATE, FRIENDLY Delivery Drivers who love people and plants, Patio Furniture and Christmas! Our Delivery Drivers play a very important role in the success of our stores. Drivers are needed for local floral, furniture, Christmas tree and other product deliveries within the metro Detroit area. When not driving, this associate will assist with building patio furniture for display and customer purchase during the Spring and working in the Christmas tree department in the Fall/Winter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills by consistently delivering quality products and acting in a courteous and professional manner. In addition to deliveries, drivers will be expected to carry out other duties as assigned by store manager. This position does require DAILY working outside.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Load and unload trucks
• Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
• Must be willing to work weekends and Holidays.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• Must have or be able to obtain chauffeurs license and DOT medical card, as well as pass a drug test.
