Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper to support loading, unloading, and delivering building materials to various jobsites. The role involves navigating routes, maintaining truck safety, and assisting with daily prep for upcoming deliveries.

The position requires basic reading/writing, adherence to safety procedures, and effective teamwork. It is an on-site role with outdoor work conditions and potential for overtime and periodic travel to local sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle building materials.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and prepare trucks for deliveries.
• Unload materials at jobsites and secure load.
• Navigate routes to customer jobsites and assist with backing procedures.
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Assist with preparing trucks and materials for the following day’s deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
