Job Summary

The Delivery Lead – large, complex programs for Insurance sector is responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of large-scale, high-impact Data & AI programs within an enterprise. This role requires deep expertise in AI, data engineering, and advanced analytics, along with strong program management skills. The ideal candidate will oversee multi‑functional and multi‑tower teams, ensure timely and quality delivery of AI‑driven solutions, manage risks, and align initiatives with business objectives. This role requires CxO level influencing and Management skills.

Job Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategy

• Define and lead large-scale Data & AI programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps leading with approximately team size of 400-500+ people.
• Develop a strategic approach for AI-driven transformation, focusing on business value, scalability, and long‑term impact.
• Establish governance frameworks to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with executive leadership internally and client side to define success metrics and key milestones.

Project Execution & Delivery

• Drive the execution of multiple, concurrent AI & Data initiatives across different business functions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver AI‑powered solutions.
• Ensure best practices for data governance, AI ethics, and responsible AI are embedded in all projects.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and technical roadblocks.
• Optimize resource allocation, balancing project needs with organizational priorities.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, business units, and technical teams.
• Engage with cross‑functional & cross tower teams to align priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
• Present program updates, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
• Facilitate collaboration between business, data, and IT teams to drive data-driven decision‑making.

Budget & Financial Oversight

• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost‑effective execution of AI initiatives.
• Track and report financial performance against budget and projected ROI.
• Secure funding and investment for AI programs by demonstrating business value and impact.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Certifications: PMP, SAFe, Agile certifications are a plus.
• Experience: experience in program/project management, with focus on AI & data initiatives.

Program & Project Management

• Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies for Data & AI projects.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional & multi tower programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in program management tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Ability to drive AI adoption and manage change within an organization.

• Excellent leadership skills to manage diverse teams of engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
