  • Provide basic operational instruction to customers for safe use.
  • Load, transport, and unload equipment using safe handling practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues encountered during delivery or installation.
  • Represent the company professionally on-site and in the field.

This role contributes to improved customer safety, independence, and satisfaction by delivering high-quality installation services and ensuring equipment is fully functional at the point of use. The position is structured as a task-based, field services engagement aligned to business demand and service needs.Key ResponsibilitiesEssential DutiesDeliver mobility and medical equipment to residential and commercial locations in a safe and timely mannerAssemble and install equipment including lift chairs, wheelchairs, scooters, ramps, and stair lifts according to manufacturer and company standardsVerify proper functionality and safety of all equipment at the time of installationProvide basic operational instruction to customers to ensure proper use and safetyLoad, transport, and unload equipment using safe handling practicesTroubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues encountered during delivery or installationMaintain professional communication and customer service standards during all service interactionsRepresent the company in a professional manner while on-site and in the fieldOther FunctionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of tools, vehicles, and work areasSupport basic coordination of delivery schedules and service needs as mutually agreed uponPerforms other mutually agreed upon duties consistent with the applicable engagement or contractJOB QUALIFICATIONSSkills and AbilitiesRequired:Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power toolsAbility to problem-solve and troubleshoot basic mechanical issuesStrong time management and dependability in a field-based work environmentEffective communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage assigned service tasksPreferred:Familiarity with mobility or medical equipmentBasic electrical or carpentry knowledgeExperience interacting directly with customers in service-based rolesWork Experience RequirementsRequired:Demonstrated hands-on mechanical or technical experience (professional or personal)Preferred:1–3 years of delivery, installation, construction, or assembly experienceEducation RequirementsPreferred:High school diploma or GEDLicense and Certification RequirementsRequired:Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsCategory: DrivingThis role requires extended periods of driving and field-based activity. The contractor must be able to safely operate a vehicle and perform physical tasks associated with delivery and installation services.Additional requirements include:Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment typically ranging from 50–100 lbs, with assistance as neededFrequent standing, bending, kneeling, and movement during installation activitiesExposure to indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditionsRegular use of hand tools, power tools, and transportation equipmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
