Job summary

Best Buy in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Delivery Assistant (Delivery Support Associate) to join during the busy holiday season and accompany a team of Agents to customers’ homes for installation, repair and haul-away of electronics.

You’ll perform basic appliance installation, ensure devices are functioning and damage-free, advise on product placement, and work independently or with a two-person team while supporting inventory and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds with a team using assistive tools.
• Ability to perform basic appliance installation and provide product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic appliance installation.
• Ensure installed appliances are damage-free, accurately installed and fully functioning.
• Provide a seamless client experience by advising on product placement and recommendations.
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team.
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other Agents.
• Process paperwork and payments.
