Job summary

Best Buy in Springfield, MO is hiring a Delivery Assistant to join our holiday-season delivery team. You’ll accompany experienced Agents to customers’ homes, assist with delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of electronics, and support with integration and networking tasks.

You will help ensure appliances are installed correctly and functioning, advise customers on product placement, and work solo or in a two-person team while helping with inventory and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds as a team with the use of support tools such as a harness, dolly or lift.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic appliance installation.
• Help ensure installed appliances are damage‑free, accurately installed and fully functioning.
• Provide a seamless client experience by advising on product placement and giving recommendations regarding products, services and content.
• Work independently or as part of a two‑person team.
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other Agents.
• Process paperwork and payments.
