Job summary

Castle Rental is seeking a Delivery and Installation Specialist to deliver, set up, service and retrieve products at customers' homes. You will ensure safe delivery, explain rental terms, and demonstrate product features.

Responsibilities include loading the truck securely, inspecting locations, completing payments, maintaining vehicles, and keeping backrooms organized. Non-exempt, on-site position with standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Loads products into delivery truck securely using straps and pads to prevent damage.
• Inspects delivery location to ensure safety and that delivery goes to the correct person.
• Explains the rental agreement to the customer when applicable.
• Demonstrates product features and benefits before leaving the customer's home.
• Retrieves products from customers’ homes when the rental is not renewed.
• Repairs, cleans, and moves products from stockroom to sales floor for display.
• Documents and processes customer payments in the field and store.
• Safely and courteously operates company vehicles to protect the brand.
• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on delivery vehicles.
• Helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized backroom.
• Uses equipment to transport products safely and damage-free.
• Maintains knowledge of castle plan, rental agreements, and benefit plans.
• Ensures products are complete with all pieces, parts, accessories, and manuals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Delivery and Installation Specialist

Summary: Responsible for the delivery, set up, service, and retrieval of products to and from customer's homes by performing the following duties.

Other duties may be assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads products into delivery truck properly and securely by using straps and pads to avoid damage during transit.*


• Investigates delivery location to ensure the product will be in a safe environment and the product is delivered to the proper person.*


• Explains the rental agreement to the customer in some cases.*


• Explains and demonstrates the various features and benefits of the product before leaving the home.*


• Retrieves products from the homes of customers who choose not to renew the rental agreement.*


• Repairs, cleans, and moves products from the stockroom to the sales floor for display.*


• Documents and receives customers payment successfully in the field and store.*


• Protects the company image by safely and courteously operating the company vehicles.*


• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on delivery vehicles.*


• Helps maintain the backroom in a safe, clean, and organized condition.*


• Uses equipment to transport product in a safe and damage free manner.*


• Maintains complete knowledge of the castle plan, rental agreement, and other benefit plans.*


• Responsible for products being complete in all pieces, parts, accessories, and manuals during delivery and pickup.*


• Performs other related duties as assigned.
