Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. in Harrisburg is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and ready the truck for the next day while maintaining the vehicle and equipment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, operate safely under OSHA/DOT guidelines, and work well both independently and in a team. It involves outdoor site deliveries and physical work as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with OSHA/DOT and safety guidelines; perform pre-trip inspections; safely unload product and deliver to designated area; secure items on truck; navigate routes to job sites.
