Job summary

Core-Mark in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Driver Helper to support delivery operations in the foodservice distribution network. You will ride with and assist the Driver on intrastate and interstate routes, helping with loading, unloading, and customer interactions to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1-3 years of related experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to operate powered equipment (forklift certification may be needed).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and apply general math skills.
• Ability to work reliably from verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to learn/use computer programs on the job.
• Ability to obtain certifications for use of powered equipment; such as forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles.
• Places products in areas identified by customers.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
