Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a warehouse/delivery helper to assist the delivery driver with unloading, checking product quality and delivering to customer locations. The role involves rotating stock, verifying orders and ensuring safety during handling.

The position requires basic arithmetic, clear communication, and familiarity with delivery schedules, along with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally in a cold warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and perform basic arithmetic.
• Know product delivery schedule.
• Quality rotation and product handling.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check the quality products at a customer location, rotate and check the quality of produce.
• Driving to different locations to assist the driver with deliveries.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handles any customer complaints professionally.
• Handles company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules and performs a pre-trip inspection.
