Job summary

Craft Massachusetts, Everett, MA is seeking a Delivery Helper to assist CDL Drivers on each truck route. You will help with navigation and loading/unloading, delivering products to accounts while maintaining safety and accuracy.

This full-time, hourly role starts at $20/hour with potential up to $24/hour depending on route and workload. Expect early start times, Monday–Friday work, and varying end times based on delivery volume.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to transport alcohol.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday starting at 5:15 AM; times may vary by route.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and store items in dry and refrigerated areas.
• Ensure pallets are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and unload dunnage, pallets, and load bars for return to supplier.
• Maintain courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:15am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr; $20.00/hr start

Objective

Delivery Helpers are paired with CDL Drivers for each truck route. Primary responsibilities of Delivery Helpers are to assist with navigation and to unload and deliver products to each account.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the warehouse to be returned to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age. This is a legal requirement to transport alcohol.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:15 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly.
• Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).
• Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs.
• Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
