Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring a Driver’s Assistant – Loader/Delivery Helper in Lakeville, MN. This full-time daytime role supports the driver, delivering building materials to residential and commercial sites and assisting with loading and unloading.

Ideal candidates are dependable, physically capable, and able to work in various weather conditions. On-the-job training and a team-driven environment are provided to ensure safe and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs alone and up to 150 lbs with a partner.
• Comfortable with physical labor including walking, standing, bending, sitting, and pushing/pulling.
• Strong teamwork mindset and positive attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Experience with construction or building materials is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading, securing, and unloading materials at various worksite locations.
• Handle a wide range of building materials including cabinets, countertops, doors, drywall, insulation, lumber, roofing, siding, decking, plywood, moulding, and more.
• Ensure all materials are handled safely and delivered in excellent condition.
• Provide on-site delivery support to ensure smooth customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with the driver and job site personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck/load area.
• Perform all duties safely and efficiently.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Driver’s Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced construction supply environment. This is a loader/delivery support role, riding alongside our driver to deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites. If you’re a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to do what it takes to "get the job done," we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
