Job summary

SMK Logistics, a Delivery Service Partner for Amazon in California, is hiring Delivery Helper to support drivers. This part-time role offers 3 days per week, 8–10 hours per day, with at least one weekend day. Opportunity for full-time permanent employment based on performance.

You will assist with delivering 400–600 packages daily, loading and unloading up to 50 lbs, and helping the team complete routes efficiently in all weather conditions. Training is provided before your first shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and complete training.
• Prior warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers by delivering 400–600 packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Load and unload packages from delivery vans.
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload with team help.
• Push, tilt, and slide packages weighing 50–70 lbs using a hand truck.
• Ride along with drivers to support route completion.
• Work in all weather conditions and maintain attendance, performance, and safety.
• Support teammates during daily operations and communicate with drivers and team.
• Complete Amazon training and onboarding before first shift.

SMK Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) based in California. We’re currently hiring Delivery Helper to support our drivers during deliveries. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-focused individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a team.

Position Highlights

• Anticipated schedule: part-time 3 daysper week, 8-10 hours per dayincluding at least one weekend day
• Extra shifts may be available, but not guaranteed
• Opportunity for full-time permanent employment: Employee may be considered for long-term roles based on performance and business needs (review required)

What You’ll Do

• Assist drivers with delivering 400 - 600packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses

• Often tilt, push, and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck with team assistance
• Ride along with drivers and support efficient route completion
• Work in all weather conditions: rain, heat, cold, etc.
• Maintain high standards for attendance, performance, and safety
• Support teammates as needed during daily operations
• Communicate effectively with drivers and support team to provide excellent customer service

Before your first shift, you’ll complete Amazon training and onboarding with our team.
