Job summary

SMK Logistics LLC in California is hiring a Delivery Helper to support our drivers and deliver packages with a focus on safety and customer service. The role offers a part-time schedule: three days per week, 8–10 hours per day, with at least one weekend day.

You will assist drivers in delivering 400–600 packages daily, load and unload up to 50 lbs, work in all weather, ride along to ensure route efficiency, and help teammates maintain attendance, performance, and safety standards.

SMK Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) based in California. We’re currently hiring Delivery Helper to support our drivers during deliveries. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-focused individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a team.

Position Highlights:

• Anticipated schedule: part-time 3 daysper week, 8-10 hours per dayincluding at least one weekend day
• Extra shifts may be available, but not guaranteed
• Opportunity for full-time permanent employment: Employee may be considered for long-term roles based on performance and business needs (review required)

What You’ll Do:

• Assist drivers with delivering 400 - 600packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses
• Load and unload packages from delivery vans
• Repeatedly load and unload packages up to 50lbs
• Often tilt, push, and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck with team assistance
• Ride along with drivers and support efficient route completion
• Work in all weather conditions: rain, heat, cold, etc.
• Maintain high standards for attendance, performance, and safety
• Support teammates as needed during daily operations
• Communicate effectively with drivers and support team to provide excellent customer service

Before your first shift, you’ll complete Amazon training and onboarding with our team.

Qualifications

What You Need:

• Be at least 18years old
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50lbs
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screeningand successfully complete training
• Prior warehouse, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
