Position Summary

The primary functions of the Delivery Helper include loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, preparing the truck for the next day, and maintaining the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT regulations.
  2. Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded products to verify order accuracy.
  3. Safely unload products and deliver them to designated areas as directed by customers.
  4. Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
  5. Navigate routes to the job site efficiently.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate accurately.
  • Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.

Physical Requirements
  • Remain standing 90% of the time.
  • Constant movement when unloading materials from trucks to job sites.
  • Position self to unload/load materials from flatbeds or booms.
  • Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively with management and coworkers.
  • Work outdoors during deliveries.
