Job summary

Magid Glove and Safety is seeking a dependable Driver / Warehouse & Facilities Support for our Romeoville facility. This role combines delivery driving, warehouse tasks, and general maintenance, operating a 20-foot truck on local routes and supporting day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, able to work independently, and eager to learn. Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required, with DOT physical and English proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete a required DOT physical examination.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred/required.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, maintenance, or facilities experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Basic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 20-foot truck safely on local and Northwest Indiana routes.
• Complete deliveries and pickups as assigned.
• Maintain a safe driving record and follow all applicable driving and DOT requirements.
• Provide occasional support to Field Service operations as needed.
• Perform general warehouse and facility duties, including building pallets and folding boxes.
• Repair and maintain skids/pallets.
• Collect trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Assist with facility and warehouse projects as assigned.
• Assist Maintenance Mechanics with basic maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns promptly.
• Unload trucks and use RF Scanner for put away
• Order Filling: RF scanners to select and stage merchandise for transport, while efficiently fulfilling orders via foot or forklift
