Lezzer Lumber is hiring for a Warehouse Associate - Delivery Driver in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves loading and delivering customer orders, operating delivery vehicles, and providing courteous service to customers at multiple sites.

A valid driver’s license with a medical card is required, along with the ability to pass drug screening and occasionally operate a forklift. The position emphasizes safe driving practices, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with medical card.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random testing per policy.
• Ability to calculate weights for material distribution.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
• Two to four years’ experience in merchandise delivery and customer service preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load delivery vehicles with customer orders.
• Deliver orders using sound and safe delivery practices.
• Operate location vehicles (flatbeds, pickups, stake-body, box trucks).
• Provide courteous delivery service to customers and their representatives.
• Complete delivery invoices and vehicle documents accurately.
• Report unsafe vehicle conditions or maintenance to the Dispatcher/ Warehouse Manager.
• Perform daily vehicle pre/post trip inspections and basic yard housekeeping.
