Summary
Havtech Commercial Distribution is seeking a positive team player with a passion for excellent customer service to join our growing warehouse team!

Driving duties include: delivery of orders and supplies, positive interaction with customers, and loading and unloading. Warehouse duties include: coordination of the staging, shipping and receiving of parts, equipment and supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Load, transport, and deliver parts to customer locations or job sites in a safe, timely manner.
2. Load and unload items per customer or site specifications.
3. Review deliveries with customers to ensure items meet their needs; provide excellent customer service.
4. Abide by all applicable local and state transportation safety laws and regulations.
5. Abide by any and all applicable Federal D.O.T-FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
6. Conduct periodic inspection/review of vehicle before departing to deliver goods to maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
7. Prepare and complete appropriate vehicle inspection forms and complete daily paperwork relating to deliveries.
8. Maintain ongoing communication with office staff in regard to delivery progress.
9. Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and responsibly.
10. Pull parts & equipment orders. Box parts orders for shipping. Secure and protect equipment orders to a pallet for shipping.
11. Assist customers with inquiries, including but not limited to: the pickup and returning of equipment and parts, shipping needs or concerns.
12. Keep and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
13. Assist with warehouse office functions as needed.
14. Filing of M/S’s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
15. Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged goods.
16. Manages receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.
17. Responsible for determining inventory levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
18. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
2. A minimum of one year of delivery/box truck experience.
3. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
4. Must already possess and be able to maintain a current D.O.T medical examiners certificate in accordance with the FMCSA Handbook.
5. Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
6. Must be detail oriented and have a track record of success in a fast-paced environment
7. Computer literacy is a must. Experience with Shipping/tracking software such as UPS WorldShip is preferred.
8. Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
9. Forklift experience is preferred.
10. CDL not required, but preferred.
11. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
