Job summary

Shearer Supply, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to perform daily delivery and transportation of HVAC goods from our branch locations to customers and other centers. The role also involves maintaining the warehouse during downtime and ensuring a clean, safe delivery vehicle.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stocking the warehouse, delivering products efficiently and courteously, and complying with Department of Transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able and willing to drive on interstate highways for deliveries.
• Must pass pre-employment screens.

In addition to making deliveries, this role involves maintaining and operating the warehouse during downtime.

Warehouse/Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Deliver product to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous and accurate manner
• Maintain clean delivery truck and warehouse

Warehouse/Delivery Driver Job Requirements

• Ability to load/unload truck at time of delivery
• Ability to sit for 20+ minutes at a time
• Ability to push, pull at least 20+ pounds
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
