CompostNow Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Delivery Driver to service a mix of residential accounts and occasional commercial stops. You will load/unload, weigh bins, and ensure clean, safe deliveries to locations along local routes.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6 am–2 pm, with a starting pay of $20 per hour and weekly pay. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability coverage, PTO, sick time, holidays, a 401(k), parental leave, and local routes with home every night.

Qualifications

• Delivery Drivers are responsible for operating large vehicles safely and in accordance with safety rules.
• Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all elements and provide good customer service.

Responsabilités

• Deliver compostable goods to local residential and select office/restaurant accounts.
• Collect 4-gallon bins, weigh them, and leave a clean bin behind at each stop.
• Unload van at composting facility and perform pre/post-trip safety checks.
• Document service notes and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Return to warehouse after route completion and report performance updates.

Job Summary

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2 pm.

Delivery Drivers service :120 (local) residential accounts per shift, containing a combination of doorstep household and walk-in office locations. Deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers on occasion.

Delivery Drivers collect 4-gallon bins containing food waste, and leave a clean, empty bin behind for each collected. Delivery Drivers leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.

At the end of your route, return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload your van.

Other Delivery Driver duties include pre- and post-trip safety/vehicle checks, weighing bins, recording bin weights, taking service notes, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

This role operates within a dynamic environment where we test and launch new services (examples include scaled composting programs and specialty recycling programs). In addition to core responsibilities, team members in this role are expected to approach operational updates with adaptability and a willingness to learn. These initiatives are a normal and important part of how we improve and expand our impact.

Requirements

• Delivery Drivers are comfortable maneuvering large vehicles, have clean driving records, and ability to pass a background check.


• Delivery Drivers operate vehicles in accordance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and local, state, and federal laws. They demonstrate commitment to safety.


• Delivery Drivers desire a physically active working environment, and have a willingness to work outside in all elements.


• Delivery Drivers demonstrate commitment to customer service.
