Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring each member receives outstanding service by providing a professional, positive, and friendly delivery experience. Maintain safe and efficient travel throughout the area, complete accurate cash and inventory handling practices, and always provide the highest level of customer service. Understand and embrace the mission of SPARC, affiliate organization(s), and their role in the industry and local and greater communities.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Dispensary Manager and Dispensary Supervisors.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None.

Example of Duties
  • Process and deliver customer orders using web-based application.
  • Receive cash payments and make accurate change.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by phone, text, and in person during deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with members, customers, and staff.
  • Ensure member concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently and communicate member requests and/or issues to a Dispensary Supervisor.
  • Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
  • Obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
  • Complete Daily pre-shift Safety Checklists on vehicle.
  • Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assist Dispensary staff with inventory, organizing back stock, cleaning, updating websites and online menus, and other tasks during downtime between deliveries.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and events.
  • Ability to adhere to the highest customer service standards always.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Personal knowledge of the effects of cannabis on self and others.
  • Strong problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to dispense cannabis products accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong math skills for apps, POS system, and cash handling.
  • Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High degree of personal ownership and accountability.
  • Organized, patient, and flexible.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing industry and growing organization.
  • Valid driver's license for at least 2 years, valid car insurance, and vehicle registration.
  • Reliable vehicle no more than 15 years old, clean driving record as specified.
  • This is a NON-MEDICATING/NON-CANNABIS CONSUMPTION position. No cannabis use during shifts.
Education/Experience

High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience. Retail, cash handling, and customer service experience preferred. Must be 21+ and pass a background check.

Physical Demands

Prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, manual dexterity, normal hearing, and good vision.

Working Conditions

Busy dispensary, vehicle, and public contact. Environment may vary in temperature and noise. Work may be stressful and involve law enforcement contact. Willing to work varied hours including nights and weekends.
