Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a route delivery driver to support radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical care providers across an assigned route. You will handle dose preparation, packaging for shipment, and loading/unloading while adhering to safety standards and DOT requirements.

The role is a full-time, on-site position with a 40-hour week, typically an early shift (2:30–4:00 am) Monday–Friday, with weekends, holidays, and on-call work as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Able to read and write in English to process documents

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology medications to medical care providers on an assigned route
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers
• Scan orders with a handheld tablet for accuracy and route information
• Process packages returned from customer locations
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor repairs as needed
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required

• Weekend, holiday and on call work as needed.
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manageweight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
