Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals/oncology meds to customer accounts on an assigned route.

• Scan orders with a handheld tablet and obtain route information.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform minor routine repairs.
• Support quality control and dispatching duties as needed.

Shift/Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday. Shift is 2:00 am - 10:00 am. Candidate needs to be flexible to work a start time as early as12:30 am as needed based on business demand.
• Will work some holidays. Shift is typically 2:00 am - 10:00 am but may vary. Some holidays are regularly scheduled work days
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, come in early or stay late, hours or overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
• May assist and learn quality control and dispatching duties

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weightup to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Willingness to learn quality control and dispatching duties
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
