Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a delivery driver to support radiopharmaceutical and oncology product distribution on an assigned route. You will use a company vehicle to serve medical care providers, scanning orders and ensuring accuracy while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 18+ with a valid license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts in a nuclear environment. Training and benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceuticals and loads/unloads containers for shipment.
• Scan orders with handheld tablet for accuracy and navigation.
• Process returned packages from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule

• 35 hours per week
• M-F 2AM to 9AM
• Weekends 1-2 days per month (4AM to 8AM, 5AM to 9:30AM, 5AM to 10:30AM, 8:30AM to 2:30AM)
• On call one shift per month Monday through Thursday plus one weekend every 3 months (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes To Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
