Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a delivery driver to distribute radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical care providers. The role uses a non-CDL vehicle, requires lifting up to 75 pounds, and includes 5:00 am to 1:00 pm shifts with on-call weeks and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Tuesday through Saturday 5:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Rotating holidays as assigned
• On call work 1 week per month
• Must be flexible to work different days, hours, and schedules based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weightup to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work different schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
