Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a delivery driver to support radiopharmaceutical distribution on an early-morning route with a 35-hour work week.

The role requires loading, unloading, and delivering to medical customers, using a handheld tablet to scan orders and navigate routes.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, hold a valid license, and work weekends plus on-call shifts in a safety-conscious nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift and manage up to 75 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in English for processing documents.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willing to work weekends, on-call, overtime.
• Delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route.
• Prepare doses for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders and obtain route information.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule

• 35 hours per week
• Monday through Friday 2AM to 9AM
• On call one shift per month Monday through Thursday plus one weekend every 3 months (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes To Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate:

$17.00 per hour
