Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver in Oklahoma City to ensure prompt delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. The role involves packaging doses, testing, and loading/unloading containers with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The position operates on a 35-hour week with 7-hour shifts from 2:00am to 9:00am, Monday through Friday, plus on-call rotation and holiday coverage. Benefits begin on day one, including PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent, preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle.
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

• 35 hours per week. This position typically operates Monday-Friday (7hr shifts) from 02:00am-09:00am , but start times may fluctuate for occasional shift coverage.
• Will also work in an on-call rotation approximately once every 10-12 weeks (Sundays), as well as participate in holiday schedule rotation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
• Ability to use computers and tablets

Pay rate:$17.00 per hour
