Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver to support the delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical facilities on an assigned route. You will prepare doses for shipment, load and unload containers, and use a handheld tablet to verify orders and navigation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to work 30 hours per week with some weekend/on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Proficiency with handheld tablets for order verification and navigation.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; prior delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology medications to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders for accuracy and obtain route stop information.
• Process packages returned from customer locations; maintain vehicle condition; perform minor repairs as needed.

Shift/Schedule 30 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm Must be flexible to work occasional weekends and being on call after hours. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs. This position is benefit eligible the first day of employment. What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver\'s license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
