Job summary

Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Delivery Driver Non CDL for our Mokena, IL location. You will safely operate a delivery truck, load and unload merchandise, verify documents, and collect payments for cash deliveries while supporting customer needs.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. You must drive trucks over 10,000 lbs and be comfortable handling paperwork and basic sales leads.

Qualifications

• Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs and pass a Department of Transportation physical before starting and every two years.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a driving record meeting company criteria.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and provide accurate directions.
• Capable of handling cash collections for cash deliveries prior to release of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and laws, delivering to job sites and facilities.
• Load and secure merchandise, unload at delivery site, and obtain signatures per policy.
• Review shipping docs for order accuracy and resolve discrepancies with customers.
• Provide sales leads and maintain safety checks; complete vehicle inspection reports as required.
• Assist with loading at vendor or other locations and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
