Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a driver to deliver and unload food and related products on local routes from Springfield, MA. You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers, following DOT regulations and company safety standards.

The role requires a current non-commercial license, clean MVR, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds with equipment. You will support daily operations with accurate paperwork and door-to-door service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Ability to lift and move product cases/freight up to 60–90 lbs with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Drive and deliver customer orders according to schedule.
• Unload and stage items at customer locations and obtain signatures; process payments when required.
• Secure vehicle and freight; maintain daily hours-of-service records.
• Maintain clean, organized tractor/trailer and comply with company policies.
