Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) in Springfield, MA is hiring a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul - Formula to support the national food distribution system. This role drives tractor-trailer and straight trucks on local and over-the-road routes, delivering food and related products to customers with a focus on safety and on-time performance.

You'll interact with customers professionally, complete required paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch on loads, routes, and schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-A
• Must be 21+ years old
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain
• Clean MVR past 3 years
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Able to lift 10–90 lbs and handle equipment
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 4am-7am

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes and deliver to customers per schedule
• Complete load paperwork and backhaul documentation accurately
• Communicate route changes and loading details to dispatch
• Perform other duties as assigned; start times 4am-7am
