Forever Cheese, LLC is hiring a Delivery Driver for our Secaucus, NJ warehouse. You will safely operate company delivery vans to customers throughout the NY-NJ metro area, maintain proper temperature control, and ensure accurate delivery documentation.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a standard 40-hour week and potential overtime during peak periods. A clean driving record and a valid license are required; CDL not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Secaucus, NJ – Fully On-Site

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Site Manager

Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour | Weekly Pay | Overtime Available

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

About The Role: The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of Forever Cheese products to customers throughout the New York and New Jersey metro area. Operating out of our Secaucus, NJ location, this role requires a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a commitment to upholding all traffic laws and company safety standards. This is a local route position with a standard 40-hour work week. During peak periods or high-volume days, schedules may extend up to 50 hours per week. All overtime hours are compensated in accordance with applicable law.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company delivery vans safely and in full compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic regulations.
• Deliver product to customer locations on schedule via local daily routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load, secure, and protect temperature-sensitive product during transport, maintaining proper cold chain handling.
• Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records, invoices, and returns documentation.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, traffic, delays, or any issues encountered.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, vehicle care, and fuel usage.
• Represent the company professionally at all customer locations.
• Carry out any additional duties that may be assigned or requested.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
• Clean and acceptable driving record (MVR required).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Working knowledge of safe driving practices and local delivery routes.
• Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Must have a working personal smartphone for daily communication with our team and delivery locations; this is a condition of employment. A $50 monthly phone stipend is provided.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 95 lbs.
• Ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle and load and unload product, including in refrigerated environments.
