Position Summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm with rotating Saturdays, or until all deliveries are completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day.
  2. Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law.
  3. Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions.
  4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  5. Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. Use team lifts or mechanical equipment when handling tires.
  6. Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial tires.
  7. Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks when needed.
  8. Work approximately 8-12 hours/day.
  9. Operate a handheld device to fulfill deliveries.
  10. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  11. Collect payments from customers upon delivery.
  12. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, exert pushing force, and operate equipment safely. Protective gear is provided, and safety guidelines must be followed. Work environment includes weather exposure and moderate noise levels.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a satisfactory road test.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good record.
  • Ability to lift and push heavy objects as specified.
  • Follow safety instructions and provide quality customer service.
  • Able to work overtime and pass a drug test.
  • Obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card.
