DIVISION :

U.S. AutoForce POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or until route is complete / Saturday Rotation. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes while making 10-20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law.
  • Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds; perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment when handling tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial tires.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks when needed.
  • Work approximately 8-12 hours per day.
  • Operate a handheld device to fulfill all deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: Must be qualified to operate equipment safely, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and exert a pushing force of 40 pounds. Handle tires using team lifts or mechanical equipment.

Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a satisfactory road test
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts safely
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of 40 pounds
  • Follow instructions and safe operating procedures
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing (excluding THC/marijuana)
  • Obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card
