Job description

Join to apply for the Delivery Driver (non CDL) role at Colorado Doorways, Inc.

Operates a company-owned vehicle (single axle, under 26,000 GVW, non-commercial license) on delivery routing primarily within the Denver Metro area or along the Front Range I-25 corridor, and occasionally throughout other areas of Colorado. Responsibilities include loading the truck in cooperation with warehouse staff, handling delivery paperwork, and cooperating with customers at job sites. The role requires safe operation of the truck, including proper load tie-downs and adherence to traffic laws. Delivery materials include commercial doors, frames, and hardware. Heavy lifting of 50 lbs. is required.

Responsibilities

1. Able to safely operate single axle, under 26,000 GVW trucks and understand all features of each truck
2. Pass DOT medical certification
3. Understand defensive driving techniques for commercial and everyday vehicles
4. Read maps and follow driving directions accurately
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
6. Handle delivery paperwork requirements
7. Cooperate with customers at job sites
8. Maintain truck cleanliness and proper functioning

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (CDL not required)
2. DOT medical certification
3. Good eyesight with corrective lenses
4. Ability to identify and handle products safely and correctly
5. Complete Vehicle Inspection Report daily
6. Complete Driver Daily Trip Log outside a 100-mile radius of Denver

Additional Skills

1. Ability to drive a forklift
2. Use electric and manual pallet jacks
