Position Summary
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 5:00 AM–10:00 AM. Drivers start until the route is completed, with rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicle on assigned routes, making 10–20 deliveries per day.
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including driver logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law.
- Make on‑time deliveries to customer locations in a safe, punctual manner under all weather conditions.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle each day.
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
- When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers when needed.
- Work approximately 8–12 hours per day.
- Operate a handheld device provided, ensuring all deliveries are fulfilled.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
- Perform other job‑related tasks and follow instructions given by supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The employee must be qualified in visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely. Frequently lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires involves rolling, destacking, team lifting, or using mechanical equipment.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel/composite toe boots. Team members must adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for compliant use of all protective equipment.
Work environment may expose employee to weather conditions, moderate noise level, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi) and successful completion of the company road test.
- Ability to be trained and use powered industrial trucks and high‑reach lifts as required.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record, compliant with company driver policy.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
- Follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Pass a pre‑employment drug test (no THC/marijuana).
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
