Qualifications

  • 1 year of professional driving experience with box trucks or similar vehicles.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record per company policy.
  • Ability to lift 50–80 pounds consistently.
  • Pre-employment drug test compliance (no THC).
  • DOT medical card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a box truck under 26,001 pounds with 10–20 deliveries per day.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs per policy and law.
  • Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in all weather.
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
  • Assist in loading/unloading and use of equipment when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers at delivery.

Job description

Position Summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, or until all deliveries are completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10–20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver’s logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law.
  • Make on‑time deliveries at customer locations while working safely and punctually in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on the vehicle you are driving for the day.
  • Lift up to 80 pounds consistently and occasionally; when lifting commercial tires, use team lifts or mechanical equipment.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment (forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) when needed.
  • Work approximately 8–12 hours per day.
  • Operate a handheld device, provided by the company, and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
  • Perform any other job‑related tasks and follow other job‑related instructions given by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing duties, the employee must be able to visually, auditorily, physically, and mentally operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must frequently lift up to 80 pounds, occasionally lift 80 pounds, push up to 40 pounds, and perform commercial tire handling such as rolling, destacking, team lifting, or mechanical equipment use. Protective equipment required includes steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and self‑retracting lifeline (SRL). All equipment is provided except steel/composite toe boots. The work environment may involve weather exposure, moderate noise levels, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a cube van, box truck, or semi, and satisfactory completion of a company road test.
  • Ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with the company driver policy.
  • Ability to lift 50–80 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successful pre‑employment drug test (no THC).
  • Valid DOT medical card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
