The Delivery Driver position at North Coast involves loading, unloading, and delivering products from our warehouse for local delivery. The role requires operating a box van (non-CDL) and assisting with production floor tasks such as sorting and packing products for delivery.

This position demands dependability, delivery driving experience, physical strength, stamina, and a clean driving record. Delivery Drivers must be organized, efficient, and professional, ensuring deliveries are made accurately and on time.

This position reports to the General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver products to scheduled locations
2. Ensure timely delivery of products
3. Load and organize inventory into your vehicle and unload as needed
4. Follow road rules and safety regulations
5. Adhere to all safety requirements for loading and unloading
6. Confirm delivery via scan or written record
7. Collect signatures at delivery points

Requirements

• At least 1+ years of experience as a delivery driver
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Experience in food manufacturing, seafood, or meat processing is a plus
• Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus
• Valid, clean driver's license required
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Proficient in driving and parking large vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to promote a safe, high-performance environment
• Teamwork and open communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Lift 30-50 pounds
• Work up to 10 hours, mostly standing/walking
• Use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, pulling
• Bending, twisting, squatting, reaching motions
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
• Work in temperatures below 32°F and in wet/dry conditions
• Availability to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Use tools and equipment, including knives
