The Delivery Driver position at North Coast involves loading, unloading, and delivering products from our warehouse for local delivery. The role requires operating a box van (non-CDL) and assisting with some production floor work, such as sorting and packing products for delivery.

This position demands dependability, delivery driving experience, physical strength, stamina, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be organized, efficient, and professional, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

This role reports to the General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver products to scheduled locations
• Ensure timely delivery of products
• Load and organize inventory into the vehicle and unload as needed
• Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations
• Confirm deliveries via scan or written record
• Collect signatures at delivery points

Requirements

• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Experience in food manufacturing, seafood, or meat processing is a plus
• Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus
• Valid, clean driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical
• Proficiency in driving and parking large vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Commitment to a safe, performance-driven environment
• Teamwork and open communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
• Work up to 10 hours a day, mostly standing/walking
• Use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, pulling
• Physical motions include bending, twisting, squatting, reaching
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures below 32°F
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
• Availability Monday-Friday, with weekend work as needed
• Ability to use tools including knives
