DIVISION:
U.S. AutoForce

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a new warehouse, with a tentative opening date of January 2025.

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., has over 100 years of experience in distributing tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with core hours between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm, or until all deliveries are completed. Start times vary, and schedules are subject to change based on business needs, potentially requiring overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
• Complete and maintain accurate records, including driver logs, fuel purchase logs, and other required documentation.
• Make timely deliveries at customer locations safely and punctually in all weather conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
• Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds; use team lifts or mechanical aids when handling tires.
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial tires.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Work approximately 8-12 hours per day.
• Operate a handheld device to fulfill all deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Collect payments upon delivery.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors, with accommodations as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: Must be physically, visually, and mentally capable of operating equipment safely, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds. Use team lifts or mechanical aids for tires.
Protective equipment: Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, and SRL provided by U.S. AutoForce, except for boots. Adherence to safety guidelines is required.
Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a cube van, box truck, or semi, passing a company road test.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts safely.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to exert a pushing force of 40 pounds.
• Follow safety instructions and procedures.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana).
• Obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card as per regulations.
