Job summary

Frank's Supply Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking two delivery drivers to support our rental and sales operations.

You will deliver and pickup rental equipment throughout the metro area, maintain records, secure signatures, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires 2–5 years local experience, a valid license with a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a DOE background check.

We are a federal contractor with vaccine mandates compliance.

Job description

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking two qualified DELIVERY DRIVERS for our Albuquerque, NM location.

OBJECTIVE:

This position delivers customer rental equipment in the metro area, deliver and picks-up rental equipment to insure complete customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records
• Secure customer's signature on all contracts
• Inform management of any changes or difficulties with deliveries, pickups, or equipment
• Inform management of any new opportunities on job sites
• Maintain and comply with company procedures and policies

Operating instructions - tasks includes:

• Pulling and staging orders for customer delivery and pick-up.
• Loading customer orders in yard
• Proper operation of delivery truck and trailer
• Proper instruction of equipment operation including demonstrating equipment to customers including all safety related issues, e.g. gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.
• Make sure equipment is operational upon delivery
• Obtain customer signature that they have received operating instructions - have customer sign contract in appropriate area.

Vehicles maintenance and Safety- tasks include:

• Observe all laws, drive courteously and safely
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspection
• Regularly scheduled service, e.g. oil and filer changes, etc.
• Damage and repair work needs to be reported to fleet manager immediately
• All vehicles must be clean inside and out

Qualified candidates will have:

• A minimum of 2-5 years experience and knowledge of the Albuquerque area
• Must be able to pass a DOE background check
• Construction tool & equipment knowledge preferred
• Valid drivers license clean driving record
• Good reading and comprehension skills
• Good customer service and communication skill
• The ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds
