Job summary

Burton Mill Solutions in Menominee, MI is seeking a Delivery Driver to keep our supply chain moving. You will deliver packages and industrial blades, follow routes, record deliveries, and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license with a good driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds (100 with assistance), and English proficiency. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.
• Able to speak and read English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone or up to 100 pounds with lift assistance.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) is preferred.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages and industrial blades or products according to the scheduled route.
• Follow designated schedule and seek efficient travel routes.
• Scan or record packages and maintain documentation of deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and follow DOT regulations.
• May include material handling and forklift operation; wear PPE.
• Maintain accurate inventory and driving records and verify shipments against bills of lading.

Our Drivers keeps the heartbeat of our supply chain strong by efficiently handling, organizing, and moving goods to ensure everything is where it needs to be, right when it’s needed. They're the backbone of smooth operations, making sure every product is ready for its next destination.

How you will make a positive impact:

• Deliver packages and industrial blades or products according to the scheduled route
• Follow designated schedule and seeks efficient travel routes
• Scans or records packages and maintains documentation of deliveries
• Conducts routine vehicle inspections
• Follows all DOT and company regulations to operate safely
• May include material handling, therefore, must be Forklift Certified (or able to become certified)
• Keep accurate inventory and driving records
• Receive and record incoming and outgoing shipments
• Verify accuracy of goods shipped or received against Bills of Lading, invoices, inventory, etc.
• Maintain accurate inventory information both incoming and outgoing
• May use bar code readers; computer terminals or other electronic devices includes laser part marking.
• General vehicle cleaning (inside/outside)
• May be required to provide support and training to other
• Work with a high sense of urgency
• Wear all required PPE
• Active participation in Lean and Safety training and events
