Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team in Richland, WA. You will safely deliver home medical equipment, setup devices, and educate patients on proper use while following routes and schedules.

You’ll work on-call rotations, maintain a clean vehicle, and uphold FDA/DOT guidelines. A high school diploma and at least one year of driving experience are required; CDL is a plus. Lincare offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds by oneself and may lift over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Valid driver's license and DOT/FMC regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and train patients on equipment per orientation checklists.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain safe driving record and inspect the delivery vehicle.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and team.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends as required.

We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team, ensuring safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to our patients, also providing equipment setup and educating patients on the proper use of equipment.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies

Education

• High SchoolDiplomaor General Education Degree (GED), Required

Work Experience

• Minimum, one year of experience in professional driving role or equivalent position, Required
• Home care/health care background is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Non CDL drivers can be 18 or older
• CDL drivers are required to be 21 or older
• Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing
• Must maintain a valid D/L for appropriate class of vehicle driven while employed
• Convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees
• Read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork
• Critically think, make decisions, and be mentally alert

• Must lift excess of 50lbs with mechanical or employee assistance
• Maneuver often in restricted spaces
• Perform the following physical actions:

• Utilize hands, legs, and eyes for operating vehicle
• Use depth perception
• Lift up to 15lbs above the shoulder while loading and unloading
