Kirchner Building Centers is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver with a Class B CDL or higher to operate in Paxton, IL. You will handle building materials deliveries, load management, and yard duties with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, coordinating with customers, and maintaining inventory and paperwork while operating a Boom Truck or Moffett forklift when needed.

Formación

• Clean driving record is required.
• Class B CDL (or above) preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Keep trucks and forklift clean and in working condition.
• Perform pre-trip inspection of truck and routine maintenance.
• Inform manager of necessary truck repairs to schedule maintenance.
• Check delivery product for accuracy and ensure load is secured.
• Communicate with customers about deliveries and obtain signatures.
• Unload material by hand or using a Boom Truck or Moffett Forklift.
• Assist customers in the yard professionally.
• Maintain safety standards per OSHA and Kirchner Building Centers while driving or unloading.
• Operate a yard forklift as needed.
• Follow traffic laws and keep paperwork for deliveries up to date.
• Unloading from vendors and stocking in the yard.
