What You’ll Be Doing

• Inform the team of labor hours allocated for each project; ensures compliance with hours.
• Distribute paperwork to delivery personnel to initiate loading for the next day's delivery.
• Ensure product is properly loaded and unloaded so that damage is not caused to the product or surrounding areas.
• Oversee the care and general maintenance of company vehicles and rental vehicles (servicing and technical maintenance of vehicles to be done by others).
• Understand fabricated products and how to accurately read shop drawings; ability to read blueprints and accurately read a tape measure.
• Create a manifest or packing list by writing descriptions using a numbered tag system to keep track of shipped items.
• Meet deadlines with minimal supervision; majority of time is spent at job sites without immediate manager or supervisor available.
• Adhere to dress code requirements when at a job site (long pants, shirt with sleeves, steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, safety vest and/or shirt).
• Maintain work area organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Must possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and have the ability to travel and stay overnight if delivery requires.
• You’re a natural self‑starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do—you jump in.
• Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles and/or moving heavy equipment and/or product is required.
• Must be able to drive safely, skillfully, and efficiently a 26', 24', and 18' box truck, and a 1-ton pickup truck.
• Possess a positive and professional attitude with the ability to support our Core Values.

Job Details

• Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
• Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm (with overtime as needed).

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Lifting: Employees may be required to lift weights up to 50 to 100 pounds on a regular basis. If a load exceeds 50 pounds, team members must seek assistance and use proper lifting techniques.
• Push/Pull: Push material of various sizes and weights.
• Stand/Walk: Must stand approximately 100% of the work shift.
• Stair Climbing: Must carry or team‑carry a 50 lb load up at least three flights of stairs.
• Reaching: Reach up to heights of 60 inches to position and retrieve needed materials.

• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently work in outside weather conditions.
• Noise level is usually quiet while in the office, or moderate to high when in the shop or field.
