A local hardware company in the City of Auburn seeks a Delivery Driver/Material Handler to ensure timely deliveries and assist in warehouse upkeep. Ideal candidates will possess 2+ years of delivery and logistics experience. This full-time role offers a pay range of $20.00 - $23.00 per hour with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto trucks according to specifications.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before departing to deliver goods.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from customers.
• Assist in warehouse cleanliness.
• Keep records of all tools and materials.

Future Opening: Delivery Driver/Material Handler

Ironmill Hardware & Fasteners is looking for an exceptional Delivery Driver / Material Handler who will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes; reviewing orders prior to delivery. In addition, assisting in warehouse upkeep—including deliveries of tools and equipment needed for personnel, assist in warehouse inventory, loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

Primary:

• Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes via Van, Flatbed or Box Truck
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Responsible for proper issue of material and assisting in warehouse cleanliness
• Keep a thorough record management of all tools and materials that are removed or returned to warehouse
• Assist in bi-monthly inventory reviews as needed
• Participate in operation meetings as needed
• Additional tasks as needed.

Salary: From $20.00+ per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
