Job summary

HealthDirect Pharmacy Services in Vermont is seeking a delivery professional responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long term care facilities, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

You will comply with all State and Federal laws governing the safe operation of a delivery vehicle, proper handling of prescriptions, route planning, paperwork, and vehicle maintenance, along with customer greetings and regulatory training as required.

  • Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and walk for shift duration; lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Handle accurate and timely delivery of orders to long-term care facilities.
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction during delivery interactions.
  • Greet customers professionally and maintain service levels.
  • Package and prepare items for facility delivery.
  • Schedule efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time.
  • Maintain all required paperwork and filing.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance is performed and reports completed.
  • Read and follow Fleet Management Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities

Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task


Job Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long term care facilities, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.


Job Duties


  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle

  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent

  • Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery

  • Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to insure timely delivery with least travel required

  • Responsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filing

  • Insure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior

  • Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed

  • Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities

  • Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment

  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

  • Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Attendance Requirements


  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required


Education


  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED


Job Requirements


  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing


Experience


  • Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position


Required (Vermont Employees)


  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician


Required (New Hampshire Employees)


  • Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician


Job Skills Required

Compensation

$18.00 per hour.


The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
