Qualifications

  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician if working in Vermont.
  • Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician if working in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver orders to long term care facilities ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with all laws governing safe operation of vehicles.
  • Accurately package and prepare items for delivery.
  • Schedule delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
  • Complete all paperwork and file properly.
  • Maintain vehicle and ensure it is fit for operation.
  • Greet customers and provide excellent service.
  • Pick up medications and supplies as needed.
  • Stay updated with employment-related laws and requirements.
  • Complete mandatory training programs.

Scope of Responsibilities

Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task

Job Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long term care facilities, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Job Duties
  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle
  • Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent
  • Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery
  • Schedule delivery route in most efficient manner to insure timely delivery with least travel required
  • Responsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filing
  • Insure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior
  • Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed
  • Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities
  • Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Attendance Requirements
  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Education
  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED
Job Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing
Experience
  • Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position

Compensation

$10.61 - $14.94 an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
