Jasper Engines and Transmissions is hiring a Delivery Driver in Lockport, IL. The role involves loading and delivering goods, following DOT rules, and maintaining vehicle condition while upholding customer service standards.

Qualifications

• CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate a GPS for routing and delivery.
• Ability to lift/bend/push/pull/move products with pallet jack or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
• Deliver safely and provide high levels of customer service.
• Follow DOT rules and regulations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assist with branch warehouse responsibilities.

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

• This branch does require an overnight route, as needed, starting after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $ 21.00 /hour.
